I wrote this screenplay which is a very high concept comedy in which I think will get sold due to its concept and I was wondering who can I submit it to? If I submit it to an agent will they try and get it sold for you or can I try and finding some screenplay contests and submit it there?

you could go to an agent, but usually an agent comes to you after you've done something really popular. so once you have a ascreenplay you should either call acquisitions executives at all the big and small studios to see if they'll read it. they usually will becuasei it's their job to read screenplays! if they all say no, then you could try going to an entertainment lawyer; sometimes the good ones will have contacts and can sell it.

if you go to barnes & nobles or borders or some big bookstore like that you can buy a book called "Hollywood Creative Directory" and other books like it, and taht lists all the names and numbers of a lot of hte big producers in Hollywood. I think there is a directory like that for studios too.

or be independent.

I'd go with an agent. Their job is to help you further your career.
