I think you are doing the right thing. Some guys are tempermental and during an argument would bring up the small things from past or present just to prove a point. Its very loyal of you to do what you feel is right. I would appreciate that. I think you should continue to tell guys to go away because it will make your husband happy, you won't have guilt, and you will be very much happy knowing that your relationship is strong and the both of you are very happy.

Hope i helped.
bye, take care.

Your not wrong at all...even if both of you trust one another and have the perfect relationship...IMing with other guys that offer easy going conversations can become addicting and unhealthy for your relationship. Say for example you and your husband get into an argument...you have this guy who will support whatever your saying online...and you may start deluding yourself into a false bond with these people, which could hurt the bond with you and your husband. Believe me, from experience, people are completely different online than in real life...so don't waste your time with men who are trying to talk to married women.

It's not wrong, but it sounds rude. I had this problem all the time to the point where I just stopped IMing people. You can set your AIM (if you're using it) to private where only people on your list can IM you. Just simply tell them that you have a husband and they will leave you alone, trust me.

I don't like it when guys IM me either. For the same reasons, you can always tell when theres a 'potential pick up' going on, and it just doesn't interest me. Besides if I thought my husband was IMing woman I's be mighterly miffed so I should respect him and not do the same...

So what are you asking the question for? You are saying that you respect your husband---so why would it be wrong to tell other guys to go away? Unless you want the permission of others by having them tell you that you are doing it wrong to actually do wrong....

No you are right to do that. My husband met a girl online thru a game and introduced her to me. Now we are great friends. When you get married you just have to turn the men away, even if it is just friendly. It can cause great tension. Good Girl!

i would tell them to go away. do you know these guys? if you don't then what does it matter if youre rude to them. if you do know these guys then they should know that youre married and deserve to be told to go away. reverse the situation. how would you feel if your husband was getting ims from other girls?
good luck in your quest for a happy marriage, and i hope that this has helped you.

First of all, your husband sounds like treats you like a child. Strict? And second it's perfectly fine to tell people who IM you to shew off. I do it.

Keep the distance is OK. You can very politely say to someone "to go away" because you have a husband.
Being friendly to people is always nice but they must respect you for who you are.

No. If they will not go away then on Yahoo you can "ignore" them and then you will never receive messages again. It is best that you not talk to them. It could start out innocent and then could turn into something more.
