Vegas isnt a great place to take 11-13 year old boys. It isnt called the Sin City for nothin. Flying over it in an airplane would be good enough.

If you are bringing your family I would highly recommend the Hummer Tour, they will take you all over. (And your boys will love you for it!)
Also, try to book your hotel at the Excalibur or Circus Circus. They're both themed for the family with kids and Circus Circus has an indoor amusement park that is reasonably priced and their buffet is EXCELLENT! I know this because I live here in Vegas and I have four youngins!
Make sure you stop at the M&M World which is located on the strip and check out their free 3-D movie.
I must also tell you that some hotels offer babysitting service 24 hours a day so you and your partner can get out and have some fun alone. It's another reasonably priced service that helps the adults get away for a while. If you would like to check out a website about Vegas the best one is Vegas.com.
Have fun!!!

Rent a car and drive up to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. Better than the Grand Canyon IMO. Lake Mead as others have said is good. For kicks drive up to Area 51. Not much there other than the groovy alien vibe.
If you would rather stay in Vegas itself, I recommend what the previous Poster said about Circus Circus and Excalibur. New York New York also has a roller coaster the boys might enjoy. And there is a big Miniture Golf place on the opposite side of I-15 near the Palace Station casino, which also has batting cages if I remember correctly.
Enjoy!! And Good Luck! =)

Phantom The Las Vegas astounding. it somewhat is the surprising educate indoors the city and it somewhat is for each guy or lady. The minimum age is 5. The music os great, the specific effects are mind-blowing and that i've got have been given by utilising no skill seen extra ideal actors. Anthiny Crivello performs the Phantom and he's a sturdy guy. he's gained a Tony award to boot for his appearing. The tickets at the instant are not any extra that costly. in case you have a student with you and that they grant I.D they might get tickets for $33. i've got have been given seen many exhibits in Vegas, David Copperfield, Cirque du Soleil and so on. yet Phantom is the surprising!

You can tour the Ethel M Chocolate factory. They even let you sample them at the end of the tour. There is a desert garden there also.
