i took a kids lil swimming pool cut out shapes on the side then spray painted it silver then put two holes in the top to put rope through then attached a strobe light in the under side center and then we hung it in a tree( or you could leave it on the ground) instant UFO i also bought two alien masks from a dollar store that were cool and bought some cheap silver material took some sticks and wire to make body and then hot glue the material into robes and we even gave them moon boots made of news paper with duct tape over that then spray painted silver & stuck them under robe's just to show their feet & the kids loved it

you could also make a mini space ship by buying a drainer from kitchen utensils area get the footed kind then spray paint that silver then buy or find a clear glass bowl that will fit on top then i found a lil alien at a dollar store or you could make one out of neon play doh , then i made a lil round chair out of cardboard and painted it sat him in it and made him a control panel with lil lights and green neon playdoh hands , i then made a round disc out of carboard made lights on it to make it look more real like a disc , and i threw a light stick in there and its so cute heres a place to get ideas

You could make more ghosts to fly around. I like to have things in at least 3 or 5 to a group. Go get a few big spiders and put them in the web and really pull it across the porch. Also tie the corn stalks up in groups, make a scare crow out of old bib overalls and a shirt. Get some plastic pumpkins that kids use for treat holders and fill with some rocks or sand and put in tea lights or votives along the sidewalk. Wrap the porch in the lights or wrap around something. I've even used an old wagon and filled it with pumpkins etc.

Shop for all your Halloween fun at Dollar Tree.. It's cheap -hence the name Dollar Tree- and if it doesn't last past this Halloween no biggie..It's only a dollar. Get some jack o lantern lights and some "cobwebs", then also some fishing line.. Hang your lights so people can see them, use cobwebs at the corners and in the windows place some plastic spiders in the middle, use the fishing line to hang your ghosts on and place them here and there..Heck you could put ur cornstalks and pumpkins together and make like an entrance to your porch ....

Light-up pumpkins (cost around $10.00) say 1 and a small one (say around $8.99). Lights (most likely orange and purple lights, etc.) say 3 strings for $10.00. All of these decorations look nice during the night. Hay Bales are also a VERY NICE decoration. These may cost up to $5.00 a bale, but it is worth it for the day. It's Halloween time, so put up some scary things!

I saw a porch today with a family of scarecrows on it, surrounded by the pumpkins, cornstalk things, fall wreaths and lights. It was really cool. Candles with Halloween faces. You could probably make the scarecrows from leaf bags.

I don't know where I saw these, but if you are looking to take up space, there are garbage bags that are orange pumpkins, that you just fill up and set in your yard.

Make you're own Wicker Man! Seriously, and put orange lights in him.

You could make a scare crow! It would be cheap and easy, just stuff old cloths.
