which cannot accurately be predicted. Punishment
should be the same for all people who commit the same
crime. Criminal sentences based on individual needs or
characteristics are inherently unfair because all people are
equally blameworthy for their misdeeds.

i'm not sure what it entails exactly, but by the name alone, i'm absolutely for it. people need their just desserts. if not, their heads just get way huge and don't take others seriously

Can cause someone to lose their job and medical bills put them into perpetual poverty.
I knew one couple who was so stanch against helping any poor or disadvantaged people. He had a heart attack and millions of dollars in medical bills for both of them through they had insurance it can still get expensive. She ended up in a nursing home after he died and now the tax payers are paying her bills in a nursing home. What does she think now that her million dollars is gone? She said, "I was so wrong."
