Facts are facts. they are neither Republican, Democrat nor a religious denomination. Facts are the plain simple truth. The following are some disturbing facts.
Fact: Bush and his administration used deceptions to plunge us into a seemingly unnececessary and endless war with Iraq.
that is costing billions of dollars and thousands of lives.
Facts: a large percentage of the USA is without healthcare yet Bush has promised health care to any and all Iraq citizens. but mention universal healthcare to our Republican congress and they call it socialized medicine and vote it down. Go figure?
Facts: Bush and the republican congress are destroying the middleclass by giving tax breaks to the very rich, out-souring the good paying jobs to foreign countries voting against minimum wages and making higher education unaffordable for the masses
Only for the rich. Remember our middle class built our great country with their taxes, hard work and creativity. Under the present system the rich is getting richer and the poor is getting poorer.
Facts: Bush and the Republican congress are trying to destroy most of our great social programs such as social security, medicare, etc.
Facts: Bush and the Republican congress are trying to destroy our public schools system with the voucher system.
Facts: Illegal drugs are the biggest problem in our society and little if any federal aid is available to fight them.
Most young men that have been killed in the Iraq war come from poor familys. Decisions made by the Rich do not affect them or there familys. The oil companys are owned by 86% Republicans.
Money has been allocated to rebuild Iraq. While New Orleans lays in ruins.
Have we made the world any safer from terriorists attacks? Or have we created more enemies?
Have they shown themselves to be more of a Christian? Christ like? By passing bills to torture people, murder people.
Give to the rich at the expense of the poor. Deny health care to millions of poor Americans.
Or do they sound more like the Religious Leaders of Jesus day. The ones he condemned.

Although it is true that George can heal the sick, turn one loaf into many, walk on water and forgive the murderers of our fellow Americans, he can not do any of these things with out the consent of us his devoted and obedient apostles. We are a republic, and he must get permission from all of us followers to perform any miracles, or do any forgiving.
You posted one of the stupidest questions I have seen on here in a great while.
what makes you think that Christians follow him. What makes you think that the ideals of caring for the poor, the sick, and forgiving are democratic Ideals. What makes you think that a republican can't hold the same ideals?
Go back to the DNC and discuss a better strategy to discredit the republicans and the president of the United States, then come back here and present your idea in a well thought out manner., without besmirching, Christians, republicans or anybody who hold the values that you presented in your question.

Bush, well rather his handlers, have realized that the religious right is used to follow what they are being told. After all, they have been pre-conditioned by the priests and the threat of eternal roast over Hell's BBQ, so they are easy to influence and refuse to question whatever someone on a podium with a microphone says.
Blind obedience is business as usual for those people and that is the group of sheep the GOP needs in order to rule.
Of course Bush is not a Christian by heart; just by book. He has ordered to kill 130000+ Iraqis and 3000+ soldiers in a war for oil, promising that the wealth of the oil will flow towards America and benefit the American people (errr... American oil execs). Having started a war under false pretext (just like Hitler did when he invaded Poland) he is guilty of murder that will soon rival the man his grandfather (Prescott Bush) helped to finance: Adolf Hitler.
The Bush family present and in tradition is the family of the Anti-Christ.

Nice Fake question!
Jesus lived in an age where people could be killed for their sins and transgressions. Today sins and trangressions get you applause while attempts to avoid them get you boos and hisses. If Jesus were here today in 2006, he'd be a completely different messiah than the one people say nearly 2000 years ago. Today many of the sick don't know that they are sick and few are asking the Lord to be healed of their illnesses, today's poor are more likely to be poor by personal design and hence be guilty of sloth, (one of the 7 deadly sins) than in AD 2000. People don't aks for forgiveness of sins like they used to ...
Different times and circumstances would elicit a different response from the Son Of God!

Bush is no more nor no less a Christian than any other practicing Christian. All have the same standards, religiously, which almost none practices in actuality. Bush just has the misfortune to be in the single most intense spotlight on the planet, exposing all of his faults and shortcomings. If Jesus did so many things for free, why did he appoint one of his disciples to be in charge of the monies his group collected?

First you need to remember that parable about the path to heaven and the road to hell.
Bush is an admitted fake christian. It was part of the Rove plan for Bush to get the church vote. But in retrospect 99% of all church attendees are also fake christians.
So as the saying goes birds of a feather all stick together.

Bush has said that he is Christian. He has done nothing to prove otherwise. The only person that true Christians follow is the Lord Jesus Christ.

the only requirement of a Christian is they have faith the loss of life of Christ become a sacrifice for his or her sins and in his resurrection we are able to locate eternal life. There are no added standards. Paul even wrote in I Corinthians 8, that there is no longer something inherently incorrect with ingesting foodstuff sacrificed to idols, as long because it does no longer discourage different Christians. i do no longer think of there is something incorrect with celebrating pagan holiday journeys as long as you do no longer worship pagan gods.
