Even the military has loosened its vision requirements as long as its correctable. And more advanced surgery solutions can help. I *believe* that the vision requirement for the Air Force is 20/70 uncorrected and 20/20 corrected. I'm not in the Air Force. Its obviously much looser for general aviation, but you can call any local airport and ask for the name of physician who does medical exams and he can give you the specifics. You can also review the latest FARAIM (Federal Aviation Regulations/Aeronautical Information Manual) section 8-1-6 discusses vision

They don't care about that no more because i go to a school where they teach students how to fly an they can get their pilots license. (Davis Aerospace) and there a plenty of students who wear glasses or contacts that have their pilots license
