The lump is like on his behind and like it isn't hard or anything, it looks like it is suppose to be there and he is a boy, and he is about 3 months old and I have had him since they were babies, and the thing on his behind has gotten bigger as HE got bigger, so that is why I thyink it may be just him.

Testicles.
I'm pretty sure that's what it is, my hamster
had a litter & I gave one to my friend . We were
sure it was a girl & it seemed as if over night they
grew & that was about 3 years ago. He just recently
died - no tumors to be found. My male hamster had
them as well - not as big but he did have them & it's
a bit freaky how big they are but yeah haha .

Is the lump of which you speak a light color, mostly hairless, and sort of oval shaped? Does it drag behind the hamster a bit? If so, these are his testicles. Male hamsters have giant balls for some reason--that's why I got gerbils.

Don't worry! Thats normal! I have had many male hamsters and they all have large rear ends! Its part of their reproductive system!
