if it was possible how long would it take from one point on earth to walk foward and reach the same point?

If you assume the earth is 25,000 miles around and you could walk for 16 hours a day at 3 mph (lets say 50 miles a day) it would take you 500 days, or a couple of years roughly.

Might take me a couple of months longer cos I'd have to stop every now and then for a pint. You might as well enjoy it, no point in rushing.

It didn't take Forrest Gump too long to run from the East Coast to the West Coast and back, so I don't think it'll take more than 2-3 years to accomplish this. It's a wild idea that will definitely go on the Guiness Book of records.

Hi. Only a few seconds... at the poles. But I like Mesper's answer about frequent stops. (It would take quite a swimmer to go 3 MPH!)
