Shoes made out of synthetic material, and wearing closed toe shoes with nylons. Yes it does bother me, and I rarely wear nylons anymore because of it. I try to never wear shoes made of synthetic material too. Not very sexy, but after orders from my doctor to never wear heals higher than 1/2" high because of lower back problems made worse by high heals, I've converted to wearing cotton socks with nicely styled nearly flat shoes. The comfort is outstanding, and since I wear slacks most of the time anyway, wearing dress shoes isn't an issue. Open toed shoes help keep your feet aerated so the sweat has a chance to evaporate. I wear sandals from spring until fall for that reason. The idea is to either keep the air circulating, or wear absorbent socks so odor isn't an issue.

Any plastic shoes and especially CROCS !!!
