Duhhhhh.. it has to, just because you're not there to hear it or paying attention, of course it has to make a sound. It's in the middle of the rainforest. Should the trees there make no noise?

Yes, but only if there is a recipient of the sound waves produce by the falling tree can it be interpreted as sound.

Yes it does make a sound, if it didn't that could only mean that there's a vacuum of air around the tree. But that's impossible.

Sound waves are not sound until someone hears them?? Suppose there is a mouse nearby which hears the sound. Is it sound then? Are light waves light even if no-one sees them?

First define sound.
The tree falling will make SOUND WAVES. If no one is present there is no auditory perception then there is no sound.

yes. it may be saturated with water and the water would squirt making a sound, other animals would hear it. and yes i know im good
