They will be able to answer all of your questions!
If you join the Army, you can pick out what kind of job you want to do. First off, you will be sent to basic training for 6 weeks, where you will learn the basics of being a soldier. Then you will be sent to advanced training, that can last anywhere from a couple of months to a year or more. That's where you will be trained in the job that you picked. Then, you will be assigned to a base where you will live and work. You get vacations and days off, just like any other job, and when you are finished with the Army, you may be elgible for special house loans, and some help with college costs.
Hope this helps!

You'll get intimately acquainted with Darwin's concept of natural selection....at least for a short time. Your family will understand it over a longer period of time. So there's educational value there. That's the principal benefit.
You'll be doing for the USA whatever you can conjure up in you mind as comforting thoughts for making your decision to enlist. A good imagination is desirable.

Well it might involve a lot more getting shot at than you are used to. Plus you get to go running in the rain with your friends. It will be great.

We are at war. You WILL wind up in Iraq or Afghanistan. Ask any of the soldiers who have died in combat?
