Try working with food, if you don't mind it. I worked at Red Boy Pizza, a restaurant, as a waitress. If you can be a waiter or a bus boy, you will make really good tips. Or you should work in an office job. Now I'm a receptionist and I make really good money. If you know what you want to do when you graduate from college, you should try to find a job with that type of background so it will look good in later resumes and it will also give you some time to decide if that's what you really want to do for a career.

Try some stores you enjoy shopping at. If you don't enjoy being there outside of work, you probably won't like working there. Also, find a place where a lot of people around your age work. If you only work with a couple people who are 10 to 20 years older than you, it could end up being the most boring job ever! Happy job hunting!

It is very hard work, but roofing pays off big time. Just look for a small roofing company in the yellowpages. The smaller ones just pay in cash, no taxes, no insurance, no hastles. You will probably get about 10 bucks an hour. You can get a good work out, get a good tan, and make some good money. Believe me, ive only heard bad stories about waiting tables and loading grocery carts. I worked hard one summer and got about 3,500 bucks roofing (I was 17).

Fast Food is your best bet. Retail sales at a mall is another place to try. Look where other people your age are working. Ask your friends. Good Luck

Try a government job at a local military base. They have department stores of thier own called a exchange or PX. It is a federal job and you can get real good benefits !! Ones that
you won't get from working at Mc Donalds or Burger king. !!
If you like the job , do it long term and it will benefit you , and be one step ahead of most of your friends !!

What job do you think you'd like to do? Apply for it or something similar or for a lesser job at the same place and possibly work up to what you want to do. Good luck!
