i agree that the diversity is surprising, but there is one thing that bonds a lot of the people together, sarcasm and anger. almost every question i ask gets at least one hateful, sarcastic comment. Or if I ask about racism, i am presumed a racist... crazy.

hm... maybe it shouldn't but the sheer number of boneheads posting here never ceases to surprise me. outside that, i'm actually surprised about the lack of of diversity here, there are so many questions where you'll have 100 answers and only one or two will show another viewpoint. guess that has to do with the proliferation of one single culture here...
