Keep it with you. There are small inconspicuous journals available that you can keep in a coat pocket. If I were wary of other people reading it I might also not write my name in it.

If you have a bookcase then consider disguising your journal as
an old book. Go to a thrift store and pick up a book that is larger than your journal. Take it home and glue all of the pages together. Let it completely dry. Then trace your journal on
a piece of card stock and cut out. This will be your template.
Trace around your template and cut out the center of the
pages of the book. I would use a small hand saw. Trim up the
edges and glue some felt around the inside. Keep your
'new' book on your bookshelf. Most people won't think to
poke around an old aged book.

Put it in a large zip-lok bag to keep it clean then unscrew the vent cover of your room's furnace vent and slip just inside the duct and replace the cover. This will only work of course if you have vents on the wall,if they are on the floor or ceiling, they will fall. Otherwise pull some of the bottom cover off your box springs and lay the book on one of the rails inside ( you might want to secure it with velcro ) and put some velcro on the cover so you can replace it inconspicuously each time you replace the journal.

Hide it in plain sight! Buy a plain spiral-bound or composition book and label it something like "math" (if you're in school still) or "finance notes" (if you're not). This has always worked for me. :) Small decorated journals just attract attention, usually.

Maybe you can keep it with you, although if someone sees you always carrying something around, they'll get curious. What I did for a while was to keep it on my bookshelf surrounded by lots of other books, so no one noticed it.

if you have a brother or sister just keep it on a computer file or hide it in a place where no one in the family goes.(example: way behind the phone books!) but if you have no siblings what the heck do you care for!!!!!!
