It is pressure on the nerves. A lot of women develop Carpal Tunnel while pregnant, or women that already have it get symptoms worse and more often. I had to use a support on my arm that had magnets in it for relief.

I had that. Also at about 30 weeks my legs started going numb when I was setting up right. Like when I would pee. (sorry if that is to much info LOL)

Anyway. I went to the chiropractor and it went away!!! Your back is moving to much to help support the baby and keep you balanced you might have a vertebra pushing on a nerve.

Hope this helps!

PS it also really helped with my hip pain!

It is actually normal to get carpal tunnel syndrome during pregnancy. It should go away after you have the baby. I read in a book that it is caused by weight gain and extra fluid you might retain. Mention it to your doctor, to be sure there is nothing you can do to alleviate the pain.

The nerve is probably getting compressed because of all the extra fluid you're carrying around with you.

You should still tell your doctor at your next appointment, but they're probably tell you, "We can refer you to physical therapy, if you want, but it probably won't make much of a difference, and the numbness and tingling will probably go away after you deliver."

That's what they told me, anyway. And they were mostly right. (I did have a slight case of carpal tunnel, and some mild tendonitis in my shoulder, but the worst of it all went away after my daughter was born.)

I would see a dr, specially when pregnant that could be a number of things. Bad blood flow for sure and that needs to be checked out. Goodluck

This is a question for your doctor. It could be nothing but you will feel better if your doctor checks it out.

THERE IS LOW CIRCULATION THROUGH YOUR ARM AND IT'S AFFECTING YOUR HAND. OR THERE'S A VITAMIN MISSING FROM YOUR DIET
