Maybe something could change if you would live your life and you hate that.

Woo hoo! Boy did you hit the ole nail on the head. For me I do Yahoo because I can give an opinion without having to hear an answer I might not want to hear. Like what I say might really mean something to someone. Everyone wastes time doing silly stuff to avoid doing more important stuff they should be doing. I hear laundry calling me as I type. For me, I try to take one day at a time and not speculate on the future because for the most part there's not diddily squat you can do about the big stuff. And the little stuff? I avoid that by doing this. Then I rush around and do the "real" stuff trying to catch up on what I have avoided. Ain't life grand?

Your time on Yahoo is only a waste if that is the way you see it. I find answering questions very pleasing and rewarding. Even though there are a lot of immature kids on here. People who are shallow a study sex. And people who are so unsure about themselves and attack God. But, I don't mind the little things like ignorance. So consider your time on Yahoo, a time to give and hopefully, receive some mature helpful advice. And who knows you might make a difference in the life of someone.

Well, in a way it is. Keep in mind that for every action one takes, there must come an equal and opposite reaction. The less Karma one does, the less one must receive, in other words.
There are times when we become aware that we are not doing very much, and we begin to get up tight about what we refer to as laziness, or lack of enthusiasm, or in your case "avoiding living my life". It rarely occurs to us that there are times when an active and hectic Karmic agenda ceases, and we are given a rest, a slowed down period.
I would suggest that you simply enjoy the space in which you find yourself, knowing that this too will change.... soon enough.
Peace

I don't think you're the only one on this site that does this (don't look at me - I'm watching the Steelers' game and answering at the same time - oh no, Cinncinnati just took the lead). Decide what needs done in your life (write a list if you need to) and go do it. You can always come back to Yahoo!Answers later. I am going to follow my own advice - I have laundry to do. Have fun!

It's an easy escape to immerse yourself in someone else's problems than to deal with your own. I do the same thing for about a total of 3 hours every day. It's just easier to give other people advice than it is to take your own. You have to make yourself set a time limit on this, or you'll never get anywhere. Set a kitchen timer or the alarm on your cell phone for a certain amount of time and then make yourself walk away.
