Just be yourself. Don't change anything... you'll be awesome.. and then you won't have to feel like someone you're not later.

If you want to feel more confident, you should spend some time with a personal shopper who can help you gain confidence in your looks. I imagine that you are lovely and just don't fit into what you think you should be. There is no one perfect type. It's not how big or small your breast are, it's how big your smile is.
So:
You are extremely thin. Long legs are a plus. Find a dress that makes you feel good about yourself. Consider yourself a ruler body type.
The Ruler is a rare shape, indeed. Without a great difference between the waist and hips, a Ruler is waif-like and slim. If she gains weight, she will probably gain it in the stomach and butt, while her arms and legs stay thin.
If you have small breasts - spaghetti straps will offer enough support. it's all right to show the straps off under spaghetti strapped tops and dresses, as long as the bra is pretty.
Most importantly, If you like someone take a risk. Ask him for a coffee. Find out about who he is. Let him know that you are interested in getting to know him better.

Be happy with yourself...confident. If every girl had the "ideal" body shape, the boys would be bored. Guys are attracted to all different types of girls. Make a point to strike up a small conversation, maybe even about your psychology class, to keep it from being weird at first....assuming you've never talked to him. Defiinitly don't try to act any other way other than yourself. Your daily conversations can build on that.
As far as makeup, if you feel like you want to try it, go to a local mall and get a makeover. I've gotten them before from Clinique, they always do a great job....its preferred you purchase a little something afterward, like lipstick or blush.
Hope I've helped you a bit!

Wait, wait, wait!! I'm a guy answering, but I couldn't help but do so!! STOP....you shouldn't feel as though you need to make any dramatic changes!! You sound as though you already have a natural beauty about yourself. Don't go messing with what you have.
Honestly, in my experiences, my attraction to a person most often has more to do with how they hold themselves; meaning do they have that basic sense of self confidence and pride and knowledge of who they are, and if they can hold an intelligent conversation with me as they would a friend; no tittering, and having to go off to powder their nose, no nervous habits.
Sure, if you feel insecure or unkempt and want to sharpen your image, that's fine, but in the end you really want to just be yourself, confident - intelligent - beautiful.
Wow ~ I just read all the prior responses above mine, and truly believe you should think on the answers given...the phrase "Beauty is only skin deep" is understood but dated, rather "Beauty is what is found behind the facade, it's the who we eventually get to know.'

WHAT A GREAT QUESTION
I HOPE THIS WILL HELP:
well, i juist absolutely love oranges and purples on tan people, oh and whites. it just looks great. I think maybe a tank top with a shirt over it, with jeans and high heels, always look your best! As for hair, try this new line of hair care products for people with frizzy hair, its called none of your frizzness. I just love it! I would put gel in your hair, then use a diffuser on low heat. As for makeup for eyes, i would say it depends on your eye color
if you have blue eyes, browns and pale blues look great
if you have brown eyes, i like green
if you have green eys, plums look great
a great tip is to put an ordinary color on the lid itself, put a dark color in the crease, and a light color on the brow bone.
i think mascara is a must have, and i like eyeliner as well, but if you want to go light, I suggest using a light brown eyeliner
Im sure youll look fabululous!
Best of Luck!

Don't go all out for this guy and change anything. Whatever you do, don't dress like you want to hop in the "sack" right away. That attracts the wrong guys. As for make up....why not go all natural? It's the best way for a guy to fall for you. Because most boys don't like "fake" and "made up" girls. Just be confident and guys will notice. That's how I landed my husband to be.

You sound like you would be a really great model ! Watch that program on tv called "the look for less", you can always get ideas on what to wear, in your price range. Look for other women in your school that is wearing something you like, and imitate her outfit, but dont tell anybody that , they might think your a copy cat, not that it matters but....A thrift store is a good place to get your basics for CHEAP. Start with solid colors, and accessorize them.Earrings, bangle bracelets, scarves, beads, purses, shoes, cool old vintage 1960;s jewelry..etc.etc.

go with skirts that have ruffles on them in light colors. keep your skin clear and your hair can stay curly. you can make it look wild if you want, it'll be very natural and free. go with flirty tank tops or halters. try some bronzer or body shimmer to make your skin look sultry. wear some cute sundresses with wedges. you can put your hair into a messy bun too.

I wish I looked like you.
People respect other people when they show them courage. Put on your cutest outfit and go for it! If he doesn't like you for who you are the he doesn't deserve you thinking about what you did wrong. Stay confident around him and BE YOURSELF! You probably hear this a lot but that's because it's true, and if your not yourself you'll regret it later.

You are in psychology class, and are asking us this question??
You sound just fine, perhaps try more assertiveness, and
act a bit more interested?
Other than that, just plain flirt.
good luck
