"Madame's Place", it ran for one season (1982) with Wayland Flowers as the voice and puppeteer.

swede is correct... it was called madame's place with waylan flowers as the puppeteer and voice of madam. it also starred audrey landers, one of the hot landers sisters that were popular in the 80s. i actually used to watch this show, i'm sure it was horrible but i like anything puppets

It was Waylan and Madame...I remember them on "Solid Gold". Madame was a trip! Lady Elaine was on Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. She was like the resident "butch" and museum curator of the Neighborhood of MakeBelieve.
