I am sort of a computer wiz but I haven't been able to find the memory sizes. I know kigabytes megabytes and terabytes but what comes after. if you could spell them out rather then abberavations that would be great. Thanks!

There are also some new prefixes that are sometimes used. Technically, for instance, kilobytes should mean 1000 bytes. In most computer things, other than storage media, kilo is used to mean 1024 since that's a power of two.

The abbreviation for the 1024 bytes then becomes KiB, although I don't remember how the prefix is spelled out.
