Okay, I've been smoking since I was 12. I am now 20. I don't do it often aynmore. My girlfriend knows I do it and she has hinted that she wants to try it. What's the best way to tell her no without really hurting her feelings? I wont let her do it. I'm not a moron. First, shes to young, 17, and secondly, her parents would kil me if they found out. But mainly, I love her too much to let her do this.

By the way, I have not smoked in about a month and she knows this. I have told her that she shouldn't do it, but she still brings it up every once in a while.

Guys, don't answer with any stupid remarks.
I don't want her doing it. So don't tell me to let her.

In my state 16 is legal.
So, for you to say that I should go to jail, get your facts straight.
She hasn't been a minor in almost two years. 18 real soon.

Ever hear the term "Statutory Rape"?
You should also check into all the laws about giving drugs to minors (or anyone else).
Put down the joint and let a little fresh air enter your system. You've fried your brain. Don't mess with hers, too.

If you don't want her to do it, then YOU DONT DO IT. Honestly, if you know its bad for you, then why do you still do it? Tell her the sign effects of smoking, and tell her how you wish you never started. Tell her that it will ruin her body and you just need to tell her straight out that you love her too much to let her do something stupid. She'll understand once you tell her you love her.

First 20 is too old to be dating a 17.
Second if you do and her parents find out it is jail time for you.

Tell her you aren't living that life style anymore and if she wants to she can find another boyfriend.

Don't ruin your life because of her. You have a good future ahead of you if you stay clean.

You need to have a serious chat about this. Tell her that you love her and you don't want her to make the same mistake that you did because doing drugs can get you in trouble with the law and they can also lead to addiction.

Well, I think it is her choice and that's being a bit hypocritical. But, if you think it's best for her not to do it than maybe you shouldn't do it either. If you tell her not to do it and you continue, she'll just think you're a hypocrite. But if you stop and don't want her to do it, that would be right.

You need to just explain to her that it is an addiction that you've struggled with all your life....and don't want her to have to endure the same stuff you've gone through...you love her too much.
