I can't even get near visitors when they first arrive. My girls are all over them and run out to meet them and drag them into the house. They love visitors! But we live so far away from family right now that we don't have a lot of company and that is why when visitors come the girls fall out.

About the only visitors, aside from my daughters friends who need no greeting since they just walk in and out like they own the joint, are maintenance men and kids selling magazines and news paper subscriptions. Rather than the welcome wagon, what I get to be is the resident ATM.

Of course, that is what is called being a gracious hostess. You should always greet anyone who comes into your home.
