I don't cheat, but I'll try to give some honest insight.

Nobody thinks that they're a bad person, so they must think that cheating is OK. Why would they think that? Maybe they think that if the wife doesn't find out, it won't hurt her. And if he doesn't care that much emotionally about the girl he's cheating with, then in his mind it's not threatening the lifelong connection that he has with his wife.

Basically, it's separating physical cheating from emotional cheating, and saying that emotional cheating is worse than physical. The man believes he can have sex with another woman, and still give his wife all the attention she deserves.

It is mainly about sex. Some men get married, but start feeling bored or unsatisfied sexually, so they look for something new. They like to feel like they once felt before getting married--single and free again, at least until they return home later. Then again, many men are dogs and no piece of paper changes them. Women who are already being cheated on by boyfriends and fiances should not marry those fools, these women make big stupid mistakes when they still want to marry those men. You can satisfy a man sexually however and whenever he wants and he was still cheat on you if he is a dog when the opportunity presents itself.

Depends on the couple. Sometimes the wife changes herself in the marriage, like gains weight and her looks, so she becomes a different person, making it unfair because that is NOT the same person he married, so feelings change, you fall out of love or find yourself attracted to other people.

Could be he is in a mid life crisis and feels unattractive and has low self esteem. So by seeking attention from another woman it makes him feel like he's still "Got it" and brings back youth, only temporarily as he will soon find out but he won't see it until it's too late. He could just be a selfish *** who wants sex so much and one isn't enough and his wife doesn't give him enough of it. Or could be that he just likes variety. But if you look at all the reasons and narrow it down to one line, you'll see that it's a problem HE has and not you. It's the way he looks at himself. Men that cheat don't feel good about themselves because if they did, they would be happy with what they have, respect their marriage and their wife enough to talk to them and share what it is they're feeling, so they can work on it together instead of him running off for a temporary fix that will eventually ruin everything.

Its exciting. After a while the newness wears off of having sex with the same woman. Without some change and variety, some renewed romance, the marriage becomes stale. One or the other partner may find someone else and sparks fly. Or simply the danger factor comes to play. Whereas its a rush to have the affair, knowing that its wrong.

The main reason boils down to ego. Or if you aren't getting it home, you'll get it somewhere else.

Many reasons;
Sometimes after a marriage women let themselves go and therefore the men aren't attracted to their spouse anymore.
Lack of communication.
They don't know how to compromise.

The reason I listed are reasons men do cheat on their wives BUT that still doesn't give them the right to do so.

Men cheat on their wives because he has found her to be unfavorable. It can range from sex to smell to looks to personality to habits...ect

Once a Man find his wife unfavorable there is nothing she can do to win him back.

Most Men find this happening to them soon after marriage.
There is a thing called triggers...it's the association of selfish ridicule upon the mate when things go wrong when infact the only wrong is in him!

Men cheat for many reasons,as do women. Most of the time it has to do with the amount of attention one is giving to the other. What attention they are not getting at home ,they find elsewhere.

"They Fear Death"-Moonstruck (Movie)

But yes its true..they feel that if they don't get out of a daily routine they will sufficate. They need some excitement to feel themselves breath and feel their own heart pound.

Its not just men...in their defense..its woman too.

The Majority of people fall into the "Ozzie and Harriet" Lifestyle because that is what is taught to us over and over again.. that you "settle down". Its not true. You need to live your life to the fullest with your spouse or partner. You both have to bring excitement into the relationship to keep it from going stale.
