If someone states that they have nothing against another race (says they are not prejudiced), they get along well with them, don't talk about any other race negatively, yet say that they don't believe it's appropriate to date someone or marry someone or have children by someone of an opposite race...would that be considered prejudiced or not? What exactly is the "definition" of prejudice?

By definition, no
1 : injury or damage resulting from some judgement or action of another in disregard of one's rights; especially : detriment to one's legal rights or claims
2 a (1) : preconceived judgement or opinion (2) : an adverse opinion or leaning formed without just grounds or before sufficient knowledge b : an instance of such judgement or opinion c : an irrational attitude of hostility directed against an individual, a group, a race, or their supposed characteristics

But in our politically correct culture today if you are white you are considered prejudice if you don't embrace other races. Treating them equally is not enough. As a white person you are not allowed to prefer people of your on race. That is only allowed by those of other races. Don't even think about expressing any pride.

A lot of times it's a matter of upbringing or how you were raised. Many races would just like to stay with their own race. They may admire members of another race and even be attracted to members of another race BUT that home training says stay within your own race. To be prejudice in my words...you have ill feelings of hatred against another race and some people are very good at hiding this.

I dont think thats completely prejudiced. I have several black friends, a black cousin, black nieces and nephews. I have a korean., and Malaysian friend.I like them all.
But.. I dont necessarily want my children marrying someone of a different culture/color. Mostly because where I live. If they live in my area when they get married, the kids will be picked on in school. Its not completely accepted here by kids having mixed marriages. So if thats prejudiced Im sorry. But I dont think I am at all.
If my kids do fall in love with someone like that, I will accept it and take them in as my own..

Yes, it's prejudice. Whenever someone feels the need to explain their feelings about an entire race or group of people, and then qualify their feelings by saying the word "but", then it's prejudice. If you don't like someone, then keep it to yourself. If you don't want your children being friends with or marrying someone from another group of people, then fine, but don't act like you aren't prejudiced. That is exactly what you are.

Prejudicial thinking pertains to a great deal more than ones attitude about race, ethnicity and such
It is not necessarily prejudicial thinking to say that each person should procreate only within ones own race - inasmuch as it does not say anything negative about any race in particular.
In the vernacular sense of the word, it would not be considered prejudicial to assert that whites should only marry whites unless some slur is used to denigrate another race.

asserting a black guy is a factor of a gang isn't stereotyping or prejudice, that is purely a assertion that would or won't be genuine or rooted in prejudice, yet that demands extra background documents. asserting that one and all black men are component to gangs is the two.

Race relations 101. If you have no prejudices, that would include a person being friends with or even marrying anyone of any race or creed.

Your friend simply is using the trite excuse of "I don't care if they are purple, green, black, or polka dot, I like them all. As long as they don't bother me or marry my sister."

That is a bigot and a liar.

I believe the race card is used way to much! I think everyone has a right to say what they think and that don't make them a racist! I also believe preference is also declared racist when in fact it is not.

That sounds like prejudice to me. If you put restrictions on someone's rights based on race or religion, that's prejudice.
