Why would I want to use bamboo flooring? What's the trade-offs. I already know it's beautiful.?

well, it is defiantly beautiful, it is also expensive.

since it is only help together with glue, like most of the"wood" flooring, you have can't clean it with water and a mop you have to use a special cleaner. make sure it is where it will not be exposed to water at all, it will come apart. of course the only people who will tell you that are the people who have had to replace them, the people at the store aren't going to give you the faults.

my husband installs floors and he sees these kind of problems alot. they had installed a wood laminate floor and the people had a leak under their bathroom sink, it ruin the most of the floor.
he did install a bamboo floor and it turned out great, it looks so elegant.
