3 Reasons why college is not for everyone:
(a) not everyone is born to be a scholar; some will be more successful and happier in a vocational field and will do far better in some vocational training program;
(b) some individuals are not mature enough yet to take on the responsibility of a more liberal form of education, and may be better off working in the real world a couple of years until they discover some direction and sense of purpose or what they really want out of life, and develop maturity; and, finally
(c) some individuals lack the academic tools needed to successfully compete in higher education, and will be miserable and will also hold others back.

Why I wasn't prepared to stick with college the first time, at 18 yrs. old?
1.) Ignorance. I let financial reasons stop me from sticking with college. I didn't realize that there are all kinds of ways to overcome financial difficulties and going to school. ( grants, scholarships, living on campus to slash vehicle expense, etc....)
2.) Imature. I wasn't ready mentally to be serious when it came to studying and fulfilling the commitments.
3.) Social Anxiety ( spazzed out when I got around certain people of my past, and, therefore, avoided any situation where I would have to come in contact with them again.
