Haven't you ever read a girls magazine? They will show you eveything- even how to apply make up and pluck your eyebrows. Good Luck.

Well, look at magazines like Seventeen or Marie Claire (look at the magazines in the store and just pick one that appeals to you.) if you want to see what women a little older than you are doing for hair and make up. Does your Victoria Secret's have a make-up section? They usually have someone there who will tell you which colors would look best on you, and then put them on you. You don't have to buy their products, but their make up is great, but you can ask them to tell you the technique. It's going to take a lot of practice for you to get it to look a way that you think is just right. As for your hair, you can buy hairstyle magazine. Pick 2 or 3 that you like and go to a stylist in a salon. A good stylist will be able to tell you what will flatter your face, as well as how difficult it will be to do your hair every day. Don't go too complicated if you aren't up to the task every morning. Even if you don't like the cut you get, don't worry, hair grows back. The stylist can also wax your eyebrows to the correct shape, then all you have to do is tweeze every other day or so as the stray hairs come in. If you remember to do it every few days you should be able to keep them in good shape for a long time. As for clothes, magazines will show you what is popular, for your size I'd say you would be able to shop at a store like 5-7-9 or even the Gap. Try not to buy clothes that are too trendy, because then you have to replace them as often as the styles change. Shopping at a place like the Gap will give you good basic pieces like jeans and khaki pants that you can wear with almost anything. If you tell the sales person that you aren't sure what to buy, they will help you, that is what they are there for. If you can't afford a store like that, you can get good clothes at stores like Target, but you won't find anyone to help you shop. Take a friend along and try everything on, make them be honest (men are good at this, my husband picks the best clothes.)
Good luck, and if you need female advice, e-mail me.
