go to aol.com and download the uninstaller

Both answers are good, #2 is better. If everything went sour, you may have to do a system restore to a point before AOL was loaded, or re-format. your hard drive (C:\\ drive)
Do not forget to cancel AOL membership if you have it )They ain't worth it anymore unless you are on Dialup and on the $15/month plan.

go 2 control panel choose ad and remove programs.you will see a list of installed programs choose, aol un install which version .choose all versions on the list n click remove.once that's done check 4 any other aol installs and remove the as well. then go to your desk top and right click aol icon choose delete,do same 4 all icon and menu short cuts. reboot and reinstall what ever aol version you want.
