Just about any exercise relieves stress. You get the blood pumping and set off endorphins in the brain that make you feel good.
Some exercises for relieving stress include: walking, jogging, stair stepping, yoga, pilates, stretching and swimming.
Also a huge help is to get some natural sunlight (without sunscreen). Not enough for a burn or anything. It is a huge mood enhancer and great for natural vitamin D production.

There are a lot of books on the subject, but most agree that REGULAR execise and (I'm not trying to be funny) sex help reduce stress. And exercise does not need to be strenuous, either. WALK a half hour every day.

put on some tranquil music like enya, run some warm bath water with a little epson salt and lavendar bubble bath in the tub. Light your favorite scented candles, turn the lights off and zone out. Before you do that stretch your neck and shoulders by rotating them slowly. If you feel like it, give yourself a feet a scrub with a pumice stone. Lotion up and put on your fav scent.
