Click start---->[settings]Control panel---->Administrative tools---->computer management---->device manager---->under modems. Do you have a yellow pop-up balloon. Right click that and select update driver, choose install from a specific location---next----dont search i will choose the driver to install-----next----highlight what come up and click next.Should re-install your driver for the modem.

i used to have a voyager and i had the same problem. i complained and bt sent me a new one, that had the same problem, but i found if i put the old one back on it started working again. so i used to swap backwards and forwards as the problem occurred. i think some how the modems just lock up and even powering down doesn't seem to clear it unless you leave it for 15 mins. tell bt lots of other people have this problem and you want a new modem. i have recently got a home hub and service is appalling you may be lucky to get 2 meg of the 8 when the wind is in the right direction and forget peak time the service cuts in and out. sorry i turned into mister angry there.

The BT voyager range of modem routers have been bugged since day 1. The best solution would be to find a new ISP.

Have you unplugged everything and re-connected them and switched off at the mains - this tends to work for me
