SISTER, SISTER
Theme Song Lyrics
Original Version:
Sister, sister
How about that two way twister
Shakin' up our family tree
With sibling syncronisity
Sister, sister
Never knew how much I missed ya
Now that everybody knows
I ain't ever gonna let you go
Sister...oh
Sister, sister
Never knew how much I missed ya
Now that everybody knows I ain't ever gonna let you go
Sister, sister!
Later Theme Song Version (last few seasons):
Go Sister, sister
Sister sister, sister sister
I got my own mind
I do my own style in my own time
And now that everybody sees
How different we have come to be
Sister sister,
Even though I'm glad to be with ya
I gotta feel whats real for me,
Like you got to do whats right for you
Sister, sister sister,oh
Sister sister!
Theme song
The series was noted for its theme song written and composed by Tim Heintz, Randy Petersen and Kevin Quinn. Three versions of the original theme song were used from April 1994 to May 1997.
The website Sitcoms Online [1] has the third version of this theme in video form with the season three opening credits and the fourth version in audio only. This and other TV music sites do not have the full version from season one or the shortened version used in the second season.
A new version of the show's theme was used starting in season five composed by Heintz, Petersen, Quinn and Kurt Farquhar, who composed the music for the series, save for season three which the music was composed by Paul A. Kreiling, and performed by Tia and Tamera Mowry. And also they had new videos each seasons.

Tia and Tamera Mowry (and I'm guessing a few backup singers). They said that in an interview when the theme song first came out.
