It really depends ask your niece if she's a fan of Hilary and/or Hayliey Duff, and then ask her if she likes dancing types of movies.
See which she prefers. My friend Ana took her ten year old daughter Malissa and her other three girls, ages 12,14,and 17 to see the movie Material Girls and said she told me that it's NOT PG material, she had told me that there was some very offensive and criticaly rude remarks in the movie and had some racist remarks in it as well.Such as when the girls pretend to be Mexican janitors, when they run away from this black man,in the movie. She also had told me that it was not worth the money to see it,but, remember we all have our own opnions about different things. But I heard Step-Up got good ratings! :) Good Luckk!!!

I've heard that Material Girls is pretty inappropriate, and should be rated PG-13, so I suggest Step up.

Material girls because it probably gives better fun to a teenager.
