I am looking to make an answer sheet using microsoft word, and i need the letter choices in a box/oval so they can be filled in, basically like a scan tron sheet.

I'm a teacher too..
This would take tons of work. Why not just have them answer on the test by circling the correct answer or go buy some scantron forms from OfficeDepot?
What you're asking is possible with Word, but it would take so long that the options are way better.

You can insert text boxes and put the letters in them. There should be a button on your tool bar; if not, go to "insert". You can size the boxes for your needs.

Maybe the CombiNumerals font will help.
