For what?
A stripper? Sure
A dog? Why not.
A stranded character on Gillian's Island? Absolutely.
But for a kid? Only if its a nickname.
Cuz if the kid grows up being called "Ginger" they aren't gonna be treated like a professional when they are an adult.
Have you even heard of a lawyer or doctor called Ginger?

it, ok..It does, however remind me of a baked good or a sweet confection in the kitchen - but I think it's original and kinda different.
