Cutting of the genitals of convicted pedophiles makes about as much sense as state murder (sometimes idiotically labelled the "death penalty"). If you disagree, then explain these two facts:
1. The Innocence Project has helped 183 innocent people get off death row in the US, and those are just the ones we know of. Two provably innocent men have been executed in Texas. The governors - neither was George Bush - who signed the death warrant KNOWINGLY BLOCKED evidence or appeals that would have proven their innocence. What if some or all of the 183 people freed had been executed? And how many more innocent people have been murdered by the state (eg. blacks falsely accused and convicted before the civil rights movement)?
2. During the late 1980s, dozens of innocent people were charged with and convicted of "satanic ritual abuse". In EVERY case, the accusations were made by children coerced into false testimony by "counselors" out to make a name for themselves. ALL the accused were eventually released from prison after the children recanted; marriages were destroyed, careers and reputations ruined, and some were driven to suicide all because of a few overzealous godbots. It was a modern witch hunt.
If your notion of genital mutilation had been around, how many innocent people would there be victimized by the violence you advocate? It doesn't matter that most of those convicted are guilty, the risk of mutilating or murdering innocent people in the name or "justice" is too great.
Locking people up permanently works and it's cheaper. The only way state murder is cheaper is if you reduce the number of appeals allowed; in more than half the cases of people freed by the Innocence Project, they were on or near their seventh and FINAL appeal before execution. They would be innocent and *dead* if the number of appeals were reduced.

Well, some states and many countries allow a 54 year old man to marry a 14 year old girl if her parents consent. Then it's all legal. Mexico is one, Hawaii is another.

Locking them up in prison with a lot of very angry & hostile men, most of whom have wives & children on the outside that they cannot otherwise protect from scum like that, seems like a fair punishment to me. Rapists & pedophiles are the lowest of the low.
It's even worse in many foreign countries. Recently a convicted serial rapist in a Brazilian prison was beaten senseless, slashed, and had an eye gouged out before being beheaded by the inmates could they could play a game of soccer with his skull. The prison authorities finally stepped in and took the body away from them, rather like taking a dead mouse away from a herd of fun-lovin' cats. In another case, a child rapist was slowly & deliberately slashed to death by dozens of prisoners wielding very sharp hand-made knives.
So the question is, just how bad do you want it to be? And how much can the US legal system do?
PS: Chemical castration is the use of drugs to shut down the reproductive system so that it no longer functions properly.

I think all rapists, especially pedophiles, should be sentenced to death but first put them in a maximum security prison and let it be known that they are pedophiles. That way, they will be raped several times before they get executed. They may not even live long enough to get executed.
There is no way these monsters can be rehabilitated, and who would want them walking free some day? Unfortunately, it happens all the time, and I think that there should be a UN resolution to give the death sentence to all rapists and child molesters the world over.

My question to these people who make laws relating to Sex Crime
I am a survivor from Child hood sexual and physical abuse
My question are
1. Why does the sex offender have an opportunity to be allowed back into our society
2. If all DNA or evidence is a fact the person committed this crime then why are these individual provided with an opportunity of parole, addition to, a High risk of violating another person or child
3. Who in the USA Justice systems think these sex offender should be treated with any kind of humanity
4. I wish and would like to suggest to the USA Justice the following solution to rid our society of these monsters
1. In any state or National area develop the PIT
2. Dig a hole by the size or a 100 feet deep by as many mile or feet in length need
3. Have wall of stainless steel so that they can not climb out
4. Fill the bottom with 48” of raw sewage
5. Throw each sex offender in the PIT
And just walk away…..
My experience as a survivor from child hood abuse experience in my life addition to talking with other survivors from sexual abuse the following is a reality in our daily life………
A survivor of any sex crime is living with a life sentence in their mind and on going battle of Horror playing in the mind, along with many personal disorder, such as, anxiety, personality disorders, post trauma syndrome, eating disorders, Depression, on and on…..
A survivor of sex abuse from childhood is look at by society as a potential threat
“just like friend of court see all dads as dead beat dads”
I hope someone in the justice system will take my recommendation and make them a reality. To protect the innocents of this society.
Castration is not a solution and the death penality there is no suffering, these monsters need to be totally removed permentantly out of society. and Not in some cozy prision being provided with free food, clothing ,shelter, utilities, cable tv, education, health care.

I think they should do time. Although it does sound fun to make them experience what they did to other people. And by the way, chemical castration is pouring harsh chemicals (acid, basically) on the genitalia until they burn off. Yikes!
