The only way to know for sure is to go have a lab test from your doctor, tell your doctor, because some women do have some periods even when pregnant. But it may be just a false test too, but you must've missed a period or two if you bothered with the test right. So I'd have my doctor check this out.

There are three possible things going on. I'll list them in order of likelihood. #1) You got your hands on a bad test kit. You should always re-test a week later. or #2) You really WERE pregnant enough for the test to confirm it, but within a short time your body rejected it, and it flowed out in a period.or #3) you may still be pregnant, but still ovulating. That happens to some people, but is VERY RARE. . . . Now, I would suggest you re-take the test now, and if it reads positive this time, get yourself to a Dr. and tell him (or her) what's been going on.
Good luck & God bless.
PS. I'm a nurse.

You could be pregnant because I had my period in till I was 4 months pregnant, also I used dollor tree test all three times I've been pregnant, and they was right. The cheap test work just as good as the higher ones.
Good Luck!

When I found out I was pregnant I still had periods right up till my 5th month. My mother had hers during her whole pregnancy with me. Take another test just to be sure.

There are usually no such thing as false positives. (My doctor told me this, when I was going through trying to get pregnant.)
Home tests register hcg, a hormone in your body ONLY when you are pregnant, so it would be nearly impossible to have a false positive.
So you're either pregnant, or you've miscarried without even knowing it?
Call your doctor to be seen.

It is possible to have your period all through out a pregnancy. Do you have any other signs that you could be pregnant? Morning sickness, etc. Thats what you need to look at now.

You could still be pregnant. A friend of mine had her period all through out her pregnancy. But I would still see a doc and make sure all is well.

you know if i were you i would have gone to the doctor the next day to confirm the test, if you are pregnant and you just started bleeding you could be having a miscarriage. or chances are, you are not pregnant,,,,, go to the doctor and have a blood test done to check your hormone level.... good luck....
