I would wash with hot, of course, and then rinse with cold or cool water. That way you save a some hot water for showers and save on your electricity bill. The dishes are already clean from the hot water, so it doesn't matter how you rinse them. Use cold. All of these people saying hot just want you to burn yourself. Don't listen to them.

wash it with hot water and rinse it with cold water that way the sopa is completly out. the hot water takes out the grease and any food that is stuck to the dishes. u can do it both ways but cold water get the soap and tht smell out. take it from a person who wash dishes everyday
