Is 'sensual massage' wrong to do?
I'm having a bit of a moral dilemma...I'm a student, and I'm tired of working for student slave rates...so i've started doing 'sensual massage' which is basically a 'proper massage', done naked, but with a hand job (w*nk, jack-off) in the end...for £50/hr...no sex invovled...that's good work right...

So why do I feel so bad about it! Obviously my family doesn't know because they wouldn't approve...but i'm doing it to support myself through college...

It's better than dancing...and it's not as bad as prostitution...right?

Sweetie, exchanging money for sexual favours is called Prostitution. You are a prostitute.
The fact that you are questioning your choice of employment should tell you that it is wrong.
You obviously have morals, so why would you choose to ignore them?
Regular massage is a good job to get into. And you could probably study in night classes. Your family wouldn't be lied to, and you will feel much better as a woman who respects herself. Money isn't everything, sometimes it's more valuable to be able to be proud of what it is you're doing.

Well, some people might put a hand-job in the sex category. You feel bad because you know your family wouldn't approve and possibly because you would rather not be doing it at all. Sounds like it'd be an okay job if it wasn't for the hand-job at the end. (i mean being naked is no big deal)

It is better than dancing and flat out walking the streets, that's for sure. Have you looked into the webcam business? I hear it's alot more money and you are alone behind a webcam. Guys (and girls I guess..) are paying by credit card to watch you. But it's still naked and still in the sex category.

Study hard in college so you can move on to a better career. Maybe some type of internship in your chosen field???

Now I'm no perv, nor is anyone else answering this question. Good work? Since your unhappy then no. Good money? Yes. The real question here is what happens if a customer wants more than just your job description. It's not as bad as prostitution I agree but still you are carrying out sexual fantasies in reality which could lead on beyond your payment.

You sure you can't find something better even if it is most likely for less? I'd rather be happy in a less payed job then more in an unhappy one.

First and foremost, this is your decision! I don't believe that anyone should tell you what your morals should be. Now for the but......

If you are feeling like this may be wrong, why are you doubting your feelings? There are more important things in life than money. I personally would rather be dirt poor than doing something that made me feel bad.

Socially, I believe that people would label you as a prostitute. You are making money doing a sexual act for (I assume) men that you ordinarily wouldn't do that for.

The mom that I am, I would tell you its just not worth it. You are going to end up resenting men and yourself by taking what should be a loving act between to people and demoralizing it to a dollar value and therefore demoralizing your own value of self.

Off the soapbox, if you are feeling bad about it, then its time to quit.

you say that you are in a moral dilemma. The way to sort out your problem is to use your moral compass. If your instincts, or conscience are bothering you then maybe you need to reassess. Can you manage on less money and feel better about yourself? Are you putting yourself at risk in any way by doing this job? It is difficult managing as a student, but if what you are doing now diminishes how you view yourself as a person, then the question is, is it worth it? Student debt can be repaid after graduation, its only money. the potential damage to your wellbeing and self-esteem could be more devastating in the long term

By sensual do you meam 'tantric massage'? A kind of misnomer really!
Go for it though! Its very good money even if you have to undress! Hopefully your clients are so relaxed that they hardly noticed your nakedness!
50 squid however is a bit steep in the UK as you can get an hour long sensual or tantric massage for about 60 euro even in Hamburg!

You really don't need that much money to get through college. A job in a bar or a shop or office part time is enough.

AIDS is passed on through bodily fluids. Hand jobs produce bodily fluids which can enter your body in a variety of ways.

Apart from that, you know you are worth more than this. How will you feel in years to come about this? What if one of your 'clients' turns out to be someone you or your parents know?

Have some pride in yourself.

If you are doubting yourself doing this then it is a bad idea. You must be torn between the money and the moral dilema you are in. Personally, I think you should look at yourself from a distance and ask yourself "Is this the right this for that person?" I guess you'd say no. So there is your answer.

Its still going beyond a look or a fantasy. A hand job is just as bad as going out and selling ya body
