I feel your pain sister. Can you get him to text you that you're his number one girl and then save it so that you can remind yourself? That's what I'd do.

Time to do something different. If you are the 5th best after his exes. Move on. We all deserve to be valued as the best in our romantic realtionships.
If he is the fifth best after your exes. You are not ready for a new relationship yet. Spend some time single before trying a new relationship. Get to know yourself and learn the lessons the last relationship offered you the opportunity to learn.
