I recently got married and I just want to add my husband's last name to mine, for example--- MJ Tanner-Jones. How do I do it. We got married in Vegas, but live in Medford, Oregon.

use your first name .your maiden name and his last name on legal documents..

Apply for a new social security card. Tell them you just got married and want to change the name. Then, take your marriage certificate to the license place and they will chang the name on your lincense for you. I did those things and had no problem at all. Those two documents are the first things you should change.

you sign the marriage certificate like the name will be. THen you change all the other documents.

just get a new social security card with his name added to yours it can be a dash or both last names.
