No, White people are pathetic in this arena. They prefer to keep it white with a few blacks. See, you have to learn that WHITE people are weak against other nationalities.... unless they cheat.

Larry Kwong was the first player of Chinese decent to play in the NHL. He played 1 game for the Rangers in 47-48. And in fact only got 1 minute of ice time at the end of the 3rd and then was send back to New York Rovers. This was not due to lack of skill though, his numbers aren't that bad. He was Chinese and there was a lot of discrimination against them back then especially with the war.

Paul Karia and his younger brother Steve we're born in Canada but there parents are Japanese. I'm not 100% sure if both parents are from Japan. and i know there was 2 other players that are Japanes that were drafted in the 90's but never made it to far. no Chinese has ever been drafted in the NHL. but in China they are really trying to get a system under a new league that can help develope players, and to compete in the world stage.
here is some Japanes that has been drafted in the NHL:
The Montreal Canadiens took Japanese forward Hiroyuki Miura 260th overall in the 1992 Entry Draft,
In 2004, the Los Angeles Kings selected former Kokudo and Japanese national team goaltender Yutaka Fukufuji.
Larry "King" Kwong was a right-winger who made it into the New York Rangers' line-up in 1947-48, the first Chinese-Canadian to play in the NHL.

Well, there's more than a billion Chinese. There's a possibility they'll play in the NHL. Canada has too many Chinese-Canadians. I'm sure some of them can play hockey.

Jim Paek was from Korea.. he played in the NHL.. Paul Kariya is half Japanese.. Just a matter of time.. 20 years ago, the world said the Japanese would never play in major league baseball because they weren't good enough.. too many examples so the concept of Chinese nationals eventually playing in the NHL seems destined to happen..

I'm not sure why people are responding with names of Korean's and Japanese that play. The question is about Chinese people. I gotta think though that the law of averages says one will eventually get into the NHL. Right?

I think it largely depends if the Chinese arrange the winter olympics. If they did they would mke an effort to do well in all winter sports and it could produce some good hockey players
