No because you would get small tribes/groups of people wanting to change those boundaries set by governments.

To achieve stopping world conflicts you would need total agreement from the worlds population which is very difficult if not impossible.

Also not all conflicts are based on boundaries, some are about beliefs and also resources

I dont think so. Firstly, they should all agree about the boundaries. Well if they agree then there are other issues like :
Energy Crisis - Main reason for all the instability in Middle East today.
Other countries becoming self-dependent and powerful - Issue related with Iran and many other countries like Korea.
If these also get solved then new issues will come up like Space Dominance etc.
Hence I think that conflicts will stay forever.

Who decides where those boundaries are? You only have to look at a map of the world to see how much conflict there is over such boundaries.

Look at the countries where there is little inflow or outgoing of peoples. Without interference from the outside world, corrupt governments are freer to commit horrendous human rights atrocities. It's sad.

Good question though.

The more people keep thinking along those lines, the more chance of moving towards a more stable planet.

Possibly but probably not because they'd all find something new to argue about plus oil and some food, etc, the whole import business all obviously come from other countries!!! We need a lot of things that we can't produce our selves.

If they could all agree on where those boundaries are.

Next to religion, land claims are probably the leading cause of war.

No, because we still need to trade goods.

Also, it is current borders that are in dispute. For example, Israel thinks it is within its own borders, but palestine thinks it has encroached on their borders. It is very hard to draw a line on the ground that makes everyone happy.

No. South Africa didn't invade anywhere. Yugoslavia didn't invade its neighbours.
