True, i have to announce it. Cant leave the room without letting peeps know.
I would feel guilty that i left them out because i didnt tell them where i was going.

At home I say I will be back in a minute and at work I say I'm just popping to the toilet.

I usually send a letter out in advance, stating the times I'm unavailable, due to being indisposed in the toilet.

Sometimes I say, Excuse me for a moment, I must visit my aunt.
Or tell them that I'm going to the smallest room for a moment.
And I never accept offers to accompany me!

I just let people know I'm dropping a few friends off at the porcelain pool, or I'll be shaking the dew off the lily.

I do like to say I'm off to powder my nose, there is no reason for everyone to know I mean it literally. You have to tell people where you are going anyway, what if they were curious and followed you, they would hear.

Toilet is a bit impolite. Its much better to say loo.
You should say why you are leaving a room!
