To be 18 and already now the number of children you want and the names you like the job you want. I know want to be married at 24 be a history teacher or a marine biologist or zoologist and have a baby at 25-26 possibly 2 to 3 boys and a girl.And like the names Isabel or Joselin for a girl, vincent, john and david/ or michelle for boys. And also left room for a divorce at 34 - 35 if the marriage is going badly and a mid-life crisis at 38. I also plan to have at least a part time job and a carrier the whole way and to take three years off when i have kids. I am in my first year of college and already picked all this out even that i plan to graduate early and meet my husband there.

I tend to be a bit driven and like to plan thing out a lot is this healthy? right now i am focused on school , family, friends , and getting a part time job.I even plan my social life out before i do anything .

even planned my retirement and the pet, jobs, and activitys i want to do. I feel in control when i do this.

It's good to be focused, and to have goals. You are thinking about the things that you care about and desire, and everyone does these things. Just realize that things are not likely to turn out exactly the way you plan them to, and almost never do. And, what you want today may be completely different next year, or 3 months from now.

No, its not healthy. One must act one's age. Do whatever you are doing in the best possible way. You have to leave so many things for later. a bit of planning for long term even is alright. But going to the details you ahve mentioned, is not healthy. This can actually hamper yopu activety. One must set goals, but remember to take life as it comes.

It's good to have a plan and your personnel ideals for your future. Just don't become so obsessed with what you want, that you are disappointed with the way your life turns out. Good Luck.

Uhhh...yeah. Way too much. Life is much more uncertain than that, and honestly, better with the uncertainty.

You should see a counselor - might be obsessive/compulsive disorder, or other issue that can be resolved.

I think it's always great to have plans and have goals but don't be dissapointed if things don't go according to plan.
