Is President Bush's IQ really 70?
Is President Bush's IQ really 70? A friend of mine told me that his IQ is 70 but I am wondering if this is just an Urban myth someone made up who does not like him.

I am not asking an opinion though I have found a few to be ignorant, insulting and humorous. I am asking what is his IQ. One needs to remember that whether or not we like or dislike Bush he represents us in this world and if he is that low in IQ then we need to get him some very intelligent advisors to help him as he represents us in this world. Pay attention to the question please it does not say what is your opinion of Bush's IQ if you want to get points when I select the best answer.

Please refrain from irrelevant insults. The question is not am I a moron the question is if what I was told is true that President Bush has an IQ of 70. By the way my IQ is not suppose to be measurable and is suppose to be in the genius range but I do not hold as much stock in the IQ test which I believe was written to pat the backs of people in the academic environment not so much to show intelligence. I have found the SAT and the ASVAP to be more an indicator of potential and intelligence. Of which I scored in the top 5% levels but not the highest rarer places where only one percent of the population is. No I am not a moron in all aspects except possibly where it comes to selecting a husband in the past but I learned by my experiences and have done better this time as I found someone who loves even my bad temper which seems to be improving here for some reason.

That is not me in the photo that is my niece who went to the Sock Hop with her 'boy' friend Friday at Middle School. She went as Sandy the good girl and her friend went as Sandy the bad girl in Grease.

The "Average" person has a 100 IQ- Bush is not officially "mildly mentally retarded" as a 70 IQ would suggest (insert joke here).

Yes, he isn't smart, but in a close-minded way. He (probably) can dress himself and can read (somewhat)- someone with a 70 IQ would have a lot more issues.

A recent study indicated George W. Bush's IQ is 91, which is sub-average, but not yet retarded.

Although his inability to offer dignified, literate speech and responsible decisions based on reason would easily lead one to believe Bush is indeed the first Developmentally Disabled President. I don't think he was born dumb, but years of alcohol, cocaine, and God-knows what other substances led to brain damage and cognitive deficiency.

No known presidential IQ has ever been recorded and even if it was it would be kept confidential for obvious national security reasons...

Bush is smart. A lot smart than his opponents give him credit for.

As far as IQ tests, I don't think they are a good indicator.
