I just was diagnosed gestational diabates, and I am 37 weeks pregnant. For breakfast this morning I had scrambled eggs,2 piecs of toat with butter but it was a light butter and I had a glass of Caffeine free diet pepsi. After checking my sugar level it was 171. Also for the past couple of days it has ranged from 146-155,but has been normal a couple times. Is 171 something that I should worry about? I called my dr. she said wait untill my appointment tuesday to see if I need on the insulin shots. But I think 171 is something I should be concerned about..What do you all think?

If you already called the Dr. and she said not to worry, I wouldn't. As you know, they would like to see it at 120 or so. I think the point where they get worried is when you hit 200 or more.
Just keep doing what you are doing...watching what you eat, how much you eat of it and measure your blood sugars.
You'll be fine!! You are one week from "term" and you'll do great bringing your little one to this world!
Take care and good luck!!

120 is "normal" I've seen people in the high 4 and 500's so you just need to keep an eye on it. If they haven't already they'll make u drink this nasty sugary crap and test your sugar level.
