Lots of able-bodied neocons are fighting terrorists. But definitions are so sticky. Some define terrorists (if you're not with us, you're against us) as those troublesome journalists, snooping around getting classified information and publishing it. What an outrage!
What is able-bodied? Are the likes of Rove, Cheney, Rice, Frist, Rumsfeld, and Bush able-bodied? So many less-than-able-bodied neocons are busy counting their growing fortunes -- serindipiteous results of failed energy policy, war profiteering, and new tax advantages -- that barely is there time to enact laws to protect them when they leave office. Woe is me.

I agree. If you're not for war, why go?
BUT if you support it you should either go, get your adult kids to go, and/OR contribute additional taxes (support) to the cause. As much as you can afford to.
THAT WOULD REALLY BE SUPPORTING THE TROOPS. They are worn out! I say bring them back as a means of supporting them. If you want them there, start supporting them for real instead of boasting a yellow ribbon. That's just yellow!

I served in the military and many that are serving now and of course out of choice are probably not liberal in their ideology.
