From the first day of bleeding. Count 14 days from then to ovulation. 28 day cycle is the norm.

Count from the first day you start bleeding. Write it on a calendar and when you start again the next month write it down. Do this every time and you should see a regular pattern. Not everyone is regular though, but this should help to determine how many days your cycle is.
