They don't have to 'investigate', the evidence is quite clear.

I think the time has come for Congress to do their freaking JOBS... pass laws on immigration, border security, port security, national minimum wage, increased automobile mileage requirements, etc.

Oh what basis do you state that Bush has "acted illegally" ?

The last section of Article Two of the US Constitution allows for involuntary removal from office (impeachment).

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

What exactly constitutes a "high" crime or misdemeanor is up to the House of Representatives.

Slick Willy... ummm President Clinton was impeached by the House, but aquitted at the Senate trial for having committed PERJURY and OBSTRUCTION of JUSTICE before a Grand Jury. IF the former President had simply told the truth to the Grand Jury it would not have been an issue.

Hey "Cursed" even your attempts at law are weak!

Clinton was impeached for commiting a fellony "lying under oath". The sex part was irrelevant in that he was charged with purgery. George Bush has not acted contrary to the laws of the country. Sure there's some debate regarding the international rule of law, however domestically (here in America) the President got Congressional authority and hence cannot be impeached by that same Congress which authorized his use of force.

And who are the REAL American patriots? Liberals who'd rather put more legal stock in vague international law or Conservatives who believe in sovereign US law desgined to further American interests and protect the people of this country?
Its funny that post 9/11 in these times of trouble where people's safety is most at risk, the American people have chosen us, the Republicans to hold all three branches of government. I'm just waiting for you to realise this "Cursed" ... perhaps you'd become a "reluctant" conservative or start throwing grapes at the country!

Liberals make terrible patriots because your ideology is more geered towards internationalism than nationalism. You people tend to put more stock in foreign opinions and ways than you should!

Bush will not be impeached because he hasn't committed any impeachable offenses. If he had, don't you think the impeachment machine would already be spinning? And not being liked by liberals & Democrats is not an impeachable offense, no matter how offensive the libs & Dems get.

1. On what charges?
2. Clinton wasn't impeached. But his impeachable charges were lying under oath.
3. I think that my responses have clarified this matter.
