One of the principal differences in any of the current concerns around the world is international support. Even the lax French stepped in peacekeeping efforts in Lebanon. The Hezbollah militants were in large part funded by Iran to commit terrorist acts.

You have every right to think what you wish about the media, but while there has been and always will be a debate as the the bias of the US media to the left or to the right, I've heard little criticism of right-wing bias in international sources such as the NY Times, BBC, etc.

When and if the UN imposes sanctions against Iran, the true test of Iran's willingness to cooperate with the world in a mission of peace will begin.

You were not lied to about Iraq. Clinton and his people admitted that Iraq was stockpilling and hidding weapons. After 911 Bush followed up on it and coulndnt take that chance. It turns out the weapons were either moved to Syria or we were complertely misinformed by intelligence groups. Dont blame Bush, Sadam violated over 12 UN resolution treatys.
